So, whats wrong with those guys ? The forget to use google, and theyre brains, if they hafe any.
Well, let me gife you an example, If am a Mac noob 2, but with my PC skills I am able to convert some things inside me. take a example.

I got an .dmg ... What? use google, thats what I did first
secondly, i searched for a dmg reader for the PC platform, see Earlyer post for the link to TransMac.

Nice app, i found iI even can burn the damm DMG images to a cd...
and to boot on a Mac from CD, put CD inside the mac (yea you can also put it in a burger king)
reboot or turn it on AND WHILE IT BOOTS keep the C key pressed tilll the CD boots.

OR

Press OPTION and wait till a nice screen shows up and select your CD or HD you wanne boot.

About Torrents.

They are some kind of Shortcut you like on your desktop. They are not the actualy programss, but more a link to it... .Tor and .torrent are this for Files on a P2p network. use google for indepfh info ... and Spellcorection haha

After downloading a Tor or torrent
Use a Torent downloader like Azureus. This App can open this p2p shortcut File and will ask arround the p2p network for parts of this file... It can take days month or even years .. and mostly only hours to complete... The app will tell you when he is finished.

Haha, oke ik ga gewoon veder in het nederlands weer.
Ik ben nog steeds aan het wachten op mn Mac os X want die is nog niet binnen via torrent.

Ik heb al wel mn Firmware geupdate en Mn OS is nu trouwens Mac os 9.1

1 Stukke sneller opgestart <265>
2 Paar leuke apps geinstaleerd
Zoals een leuke ouwe favoriet van my op de PC, 3D DesignIT ! kon ook op de mac stond er op.
klopt ook.

3 Netwerk en internet werken, das handig bij updates.
4 mn nieuwe mp3 word ook gewoon herkend.

Trouwens voor ikga. Ik heb maar 5 euro betaald voor deze, want mn vorige was stuk, en deze is net iets beter . (OF deze, of een scheeraperaat geen geld terug ...)

Day 2

This day i speak englisch.

First of all, first post is a mess. this one will only tell you in steps how i fixt my iMac , so lets start

1 I found out how this rare IDE cable most look like.

its an deafult ata IDE cable with 10 point more for the dvd player.
its like this

the extension is 5 points and 2 lines .. 10 pins total
as you can see the following picture, i used a normal IDE ata cable for the conection.
and an extra bit from another ide cable for the extra 10 pins.

WARNING, i had to remove a bit of plastic from 1 side of my IDE cables in order the will fit in place, use you damm empty brains and creativity to make it, i ony used this picture and my own peanut brain :-)

Under the power cable you see extension cable, ide was to long, i dont cut it, you coald, later I extended my Memory from 128 to 256 Mb,...

2 Booting up...


Now everything is in place lets turn it on again, Yea you ALWAYS turn of f the damm machien wile working inside of the mac.

When it booted it trow out a disk !!! FUN, i got my own CD with Mac os 9 !!!


Anyway, I put the disk back in and reset, and the disk booted.

3 Formatting and installing OS 9

Well, now it started up the disk I found out how to format the HD, created 2 partision (maybe a second one comes in handy sometime (osx somebody ?)) anyway, install OS9 ? GREAT yes, i like this 7.50 imac with free disk inside.

Instalation wass les than 30 minutes. and took less than 200 mb i think.

ass you can see, its FUn to wait with free stuff.
Remember, i have an xbox 360 standing next my mac. I played call of duty 3 wile waiting.






4 Finding a keybord and mouse

I had to wait till the volling day before i found out I coald hafe used an normal USB mouse and keybord. Just use your Windows PC keybord and mouse if you dont hafe mac, in the original Mac store the cheapest one is 31.95, i heard them say, Well you can also try your pc keyboard.

And it works ! so dont look to far for that. and if you are less luky than I , PLEASE remember, OS X only works on a sertant firmware version, and in order to upgrade your Firmware, you need OS9.1 !!! so you need to download OS 9.1 or hope your already on the right version.

Ja, je lest het, ik heb een iMac nu. maar hoe ging dat dan? want wat is er nu zo speciaal aan?
nou, ik heb heb bij de schalm, niet iedereen kent de schalm maar dat is een tweedehands winkel waar je van kleren en boeken en tv's tot meubels kunt kopen, er goedkoop vaak, je kent het principe dus eiegnlijk wel, alleen nu ook dat de schalm dat ook is.

3 dagen trug eigenlijk nu, want ik schrijf het wat later, anyway. ik ging met mn ouders weer es kijken ik had nog effe bij de lp's gekeken, alleemaal ouwe zooi, geen dj stuff. geen leuke Pc games, en totaal weinig pc dingen. bij de ingang was trouwens de electronica hoek (ths trouwens de Haarlem Noord afdeling haha)
daar effe kijken, daar lach een stom KPN ADSL modum voor 5 euro (Duur dus !)
en ik keek naar buiten, wat zou ik graag daar heen gaan. dus ik wilde me omdraainen om naar de uitgang te gaan, viel me oog op iets groens.

De iMac, oke, niet bijzonder, want ik zie wel vaker Pc's en macs staan in winkels als dit. zelfs chille msx computers en NES en n64. het grote probleem ALTIJD tot nu toe is dat ze geen kennis hebben van die dingen en ze een TE hoge prijs gevenm, en weetje, de gene die die dingen afleverd krijg NIETS, of een setje stomme kaarsen. dus eigenlijk horen ze het gewoon weg te geven haha. dus ik kijk effe naar een stickertje met de prijs

OMG, wat nee, onmogelijk!!!

Meneer (achetr de kassa) klopt deze prijs? ik wil hem wel kopen.
"Ja hoor, als dat er staat, let wel, hij is niet getest" ... "Oo, dat maakt mij niet uit"

Dus ik paas die man zn geld en loop naar de auto met mn aankoop voor €7.50 !!!

Wisje dat op ebay dezelfde iMac te koop is voor 125 Euro ? en dan zit en Mac OSX 10 op.

Dus ik naar huis. en uitelkaar gehaald (lees het boek "hacking the xbox"van bunnie en "upgrading and repairing pc's" maar eens)
want ik wil eerst weten of de zekering oke is.. die is goed, de voeding los van het scherm en moederbord werkt ook, en zonder scherm piept hij, mooi.

want ik wilde niet de boel slopen. anyway, ik heb hem in elkaar gezet

vraag google maar hoe je een imac mag schoonmaken. dus ik de boel inelkaar gezet. kom ik erachter dat hij wat mist.

geen geheugen en geen hardeschijf. dus de iMac start op met een soort fout piep, volgus de online handleiding is dat een interne geheuge fout... logish dus.

nog een plaatje van de mac. hij licht een beetje uitelkaarNa wat gezoek in op mn kamer, en in mn kamer vond ik een mooie ide hardeschijf en geheugen wat er wel in zou kunnen. het is al laat als ik er achter kom dat de Dvdspeler en de moederbord ide ata kabel brederis dan standaard

effe nog gezoecht maar kon nikz vinden, morgen weer een dag.
